Club Supreme
Role: Digital Designer --- Development Time: 15 days
Paid work creating a collection of interactive experiences to promote the theatre show Club Supreme - A quirky theatre show parodying cults of personality, enhancement programs and gurus through black comedy and unsettling, colourful visuals. It was performed at Glasgow's Surge Festival 2022.
Role
My work was split into: Cross-discipline design workshop, solo development and technical support on the festival weekend.

-
Designed playful digital & physical interactions which fed into the show’s greater narrative.
-
Consulted actors and prop-makers’ ideas with my design knowledge to support their desired outcomes.
-
Regular client communication while developing on a tight schedule
-
Developed 3 personality quizzes using Twine and HTML. Worked with website owner to integrate, test and update Club Supreme’s webpages.

Results
-
Developed 3 lifestyle quizzes hosted show’s website
-
ARG elements e.g. rewards linking to hidden webpages,
-
Interactive social media posts,
-
Designed parallax interiors for AR caravan as seen in the show,
-
Supreme Affirmation Hotline,
-
Live photo editing for a pre-show installation.
These were all released across social media & Glasgow during Club Supreme’s promotional cycle.

-
Accounted for low-tech audiences discovering these without context e.g. pedestrians or scrolling social media.
-
Took advantage of limitations – A real hotline was costly, so it became an extended answer machine with pauses for caller responses.
